Before you choose.

Do I need OTR, WVTR or both?

Choose OTR when oxygen ingress affects oxidation, flavour, colour or product stability. Choose WVTR when moisture gain or loss is the critical risk. Multilayer packaging development teams often measure both because the controlling failure mode can change with the product and structure.

Can the same analyzer test films and finished packages?

Some systems can support both with the correct cells and package fixtures, but geometry, target range and test method must be reviewed first. Finished bottles, pouches and containers often require dedicated adapters or a package-focused configuration.

Why does relative humidity matter?

Many polymers and coated structures change permeability with humidity. Testing at the wrong RH can produce data that does not represent the intended storage, transport or product environment.

What should be included in a quotation?

Confirm the analyzer configuration, test cells or adapters, software, gas and utility requirements, reference or validation materials, installation, training, warranty, recommended spares and support scope.
